Healing, Creativity, Miracles and Zion

In the midst of our struggles, when we desperately need healing, we cry out to God and plead with Him to heal us. We desperately want a miracle. Each moment, or day that passes and we are not healed, we wonder if this is our cross to bear, and perhaps we carry this disease or health-issue with endurance/perseverance - We convince ourselves that we are given the power of God to withstand the pain and suffering; and this represents the Glory of God. Or perhaps we think we aren't deserving of a healing miracle.  We might even think "Who am I to receive such favor from God", as we self-reflect on our condition (are we sons of God or not?) - We may also wonder if we did something wrong, (perhaps we already know we did do something wrong) and we are receiving "punishment" for our indiscretion.  We remind ourselves of Job who was afflicted with tremendous amounts of pain, suffering and loss, and we think to ourselves that perhaps we are no different than Job, and God is trying to "test" us.

No matter how you wrestle with this, there doesn't seem to be a solution, and God may even seem to fade away into the distant.

Let me make one thing perfectly clear, God does NOT want you to suffer to get to know him better. God does NOT want you to be inflicted with pain/suffering just to teach you a lesson of love. Those concepts come from the natural (and spiritual law) of you reap what you sew. Or of crime and punishment.  They are valid scenarios, and you may have to pay for your transgressions, HOWEVER, that is NOT the will of God for you. He wants you healthy, whole, healed, loving, free, and joyous.  That is clearly expressed by God sending His son to die for us.  God also illustrates "His will" when He describes Heaven on earth and tells us of the Fruit of the spirit.

I admit I have suffered from these misaligned concepts in my own mind.  And I know these mindsets are pretty common and accepted by the masses of believers (and perhaps non-believers too).   Maybe, in a twisted sick sense, I get some degree of satisfaction that misery loves company, but let us WAKE UP. Let's us snap our fingers or blow the shofar. Let's us turn the opposite direction.  Paul was shoved off his horse for just such a revelation from God -  As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground. (Acts 9:2-4). Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.

I'm here to paint a different picture in your mind. I'm here to explain a heavenly realm and mindset that will get you beyond the current state of illness & suffering, and free you into Zion (the Kingdom of God), heaven here on earth.  (Note: from here onwards I'll refer to Zion as the same as Kingdom of God).  Zion is the place of freedom, peace, wellness (mind, body and soul).

First recall from scripture that only the children of God (Believers) can "see" Zion.  Jesus said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 18:3) and He said, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again. ” (John 3:3)

Wow!  Only God's children can see Zion.  OK, so let's roll with this concept.  Zion is portrayed as a place of beauty, purity, love, hope...etc. I can imagine it as a place like the "Garden of Eden" or even Heaven itself.  God wants our minds set on Zion. He tells us to set our face like Flint on God. (Isaiah 50:7)  I'll extend that directive a little by saying "Set your mind on Zion" (God's Kingdom).  It is the mostly glorious, spectacular, mind-blowing place.  Just for sample earthly illustration, I think of green pastures, with lush water, vibrant life, bees and birds, cows grazing peacefully, nothing but the wind blowing through the mountain-topped trees.  God's words floating on the wings of angels creating the rushing water or wind-blown sounds of Gods voice penetrating our being and dividing our soul from our spirit (Heb 4:12).  This is place were we get divine revelations from God. Our own creativity and ability to think out of box is heightened beyond our normal mental capacity. We are in the presence of God himself. We feel safe, secure and loved to our very soul.

These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.  For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.  What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.  This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. (1 Cor 2:10-13

Now that we have a vision of where we want to go (Zion) we have to use that vision to release a miracle from God.  (when I say "release" really I mean letting our own guard down so that we can believe and have faith for a miracle for us). Get ready, this is where the joy of the Lord is found.

Recall a time when you looked at piece of art or something so beautiful or breath-taking that you paused and thought to yourself, that it was awe-inspiring and life-changing.  In that moment you feel liberated, or perhaps taught a new perspective on life, or felt a divine revelation that changed your very "being".  You are changed for ever more, ever so slightly or grand, nevertheless it's a change. This is very similar (or should remind you) to the moment that you were saved by Jesus...right? It is truly a miracle of God. No doubt. We are born-again.

So the next step is to go deep in prayer, and ask God for a prophetic picture or vision of your future.  Meditate, and pray about this. Don't stop until you get the picture from God.  He will give you this. Remember if you ask for a fish he won't give you a scorpion.   Once received ruminate of how lovely, pure, perfect, beautiful it is.  It is a gift from God. Take that picture and draw it or write it down on paper. Tell your believing friends about your prophetic vision.  They can hold you accountable, if you ever forget this vision.  God wants you to believe in this vision and only this vision for your healing. He wants you to set your face like flint on this vision. Believe with all your heart, mind and soul of this place that God has prepared for you.  Remind yourself that anything that is not of "faith" is a "sin", and any "sin" will keep you from receiving Zion. So as you notice your sin, like "fear", "unforgiveness", "anger", "bitterness", ..and so on, repent and cast those sinful thoughts down (in the name of Jesus), and set your mind back towards that prophetic vision of art and beauty to remind yourself of what God has for you. Never settle for anything less than this vision.

You are now enabling, and releasing heavenly hosts (spirits and angels) to provide you the healing miracle you need. Without your desperation for God's presence and freedom, the heavenly hosts will not have a purpose. Put those angels to good use! :)    They work for you! They are ministering spirits. (Hebrews 1:14)

You are now operating in the spirit realm, and fighting with spiritual weapons of warfare, against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Eph 6:10-20)

God says whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven. So since you live here on earth, starting binding and loosing things - Bind the pain, suffering, fear, anger, ..etc (any sin), and loose the prophetic picture you have for yourself of Zion. Loose the weapons of heaven against  the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.  You are God's chosen, and anointed to fight against Satan.  The Gates of Hades will NOT prevail.

As God has given the message to Peter during his most times of desperation as he betrayed our Lord Jesus.

Jesus says to you "Blessed are you, _______ (your name) ! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. And I tell you, you are _______ (your name) , and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

Forgive and Forget about your past pains and suffering. Move in the new realm of prophetic art, creativity, divine revelation, and hope, joy, contentment.

This is the spiritual law of believing in the freedom with hope and persarverance, without waivering and eventually it will become a reality for you.

The miracle you've been waiting for!

God bless you...You are highly favored by the most High God.

Notes:

Jeremiah 31:6, “Come, let us go up to Zion, to the LORD our God.”

Peter, quoting Isaiah 28:16, refers to Christ as the Cornerstone of Zion: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame” (1 Peter 2:6).
