A Fathers Leadership

Ok, so this is such a profound and deep discussion for me, and one that has taken a while to fully embrace in my own life. Yet, for those of us leaders of our family that have that "Brave Heart" mentality (reference to Mel Gibson's film) showing determination, purpose and willingness to "fight to death" for what we believe in, I think you'll find this article interesting from a truely spiritual perspective.

I believe that God ordained, blessed, and cultivates our marriage right from the day we said "I do" until the day we die - it is a blessing from heaven, and an journey that has many ups and downs, and twists and turns - I hope that doesn't sound too cliche! My wife and I started our journey not having Jesus at the center - especially when it came to my leadership... the results almost tore apart my marriage. Things like infidelity on both our parts, kids having trouble with physical and mental health,

I opened spiritual doors to the enemy in our family. I didn't protect them. I didn't know. I didn't know Jesus.

We have since realized the impact that I personally had as the father, husband and leader of the family.
